This weeks' challenge over at Stamping 411 was to create something clean and simple following Saturday Sketch Challenge #232. Unfortunately for me, I have a real problem with CAS -- it doesn't seem right not to have something right in the middle of the card! CAS is definitely not my friend. Go over and check out the Operators challenge this week and see what you can come up with!
What you can't see: The paper rose was made according to Melanie Schulenberg's fab video tutorial over her beautiful blog, Pockets of Inspiration. The bottom edges of the top layer were cut using the new Edgelit.
What I should've done: Put pearls at the top of each upward scoop of the Edgelit. Maybe next time!

WOW!!! Lisa, you're really creating some awesome stuff, girl!! I've hardly had time to set foot in my room - had a computer crash today (got a new one, but lost my bookmarks, hopefully that's all), now I have a headache and a cold coming on, I think. I hope that sentiment-holder-thingie-stamp is easy to cut out! Looks SO cool that way! :-)

This is absolutely the cutest card I've seen all day, and I've been on SCS all day. Wonderful color combination, beautiful flower and shading all over. I looked at your gallery, and really love your style. I hope you will be flattered if I use several of your ideas. Thanks for sharing with us, Janelle
