Hi everyone! This is a birthday card I made for my brother, who is a bee keeper (to help pollinate his orchard and gardens). This month's new releases at Our Daily Bread designs were in perfect timing for his birthday...yay! The 'Honeycomb Background' was heat embossed, then inked (embossing resist), then the individual honeycomb sections were embossed by hand with a stylus (took about an hour...whew!). I also made a 5-layer button with the same background paper....please see my blog for more deets and a close-up view.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Honeycomb Background', 'Little Things', and 'Simple Things';
Cardstock: SU Chocolate Chip and Whisper White;
Designer Paper: Basic Grey 'Max and Whiskers';
Ink: Stazon Timber Brown, SU Vanilla Craft Ink, Apricot Appeal, and Chocolate Chip;
Accessories: Ranger clear embossing powder, heat tool, Spellbinders Labels 22, Circle Punch, Cropodile hole punch, Making Memories scrapbooking thread, Ranger Glossy Accents Glaze, sponge daubers, stylus, distressing tool, foam tape, paper piercer and template, brass brads;
Size: 5 x 6.
Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!

Angela, this is gorgeous - I love that honeycomb background. And you embossed each section by hand - wow - your hand must be sore, but it sure created a stunning card. I love how you did the button also and it all ties in perfectly with the verse. Your brother is going to love this card tailored to him. I can see a lot of love went into this.
