This card was for today's Ways to Use It Challenge and yesterday's sketch challenge. I used a scrap piece that I recovered from a sample card I made years and years ago. I cut the flower border out of the original card and I already had this mounted onto the embossed rectangle. It's been sitting on my desk as I hadn't quite decided what to do with it. I did the faux letterpress on white paper, but that didn't match this odd piece of card that I'd orginally worked with and the white seemed a bit too bright for the DSP I used, so I sponged some blush blossoms ink onto the top and then onto the greeting oval as well. Greeting was computer generated. Perfect Plum CS was too dark to layer on this soft card, so I used a makeup wedge and sponged color onto WW CS to create a mat layer.

I see spring on this card, and that makes me happy! Thanks for playing with WTUI this week!
