Oh, man... Jewelry?! That was a tough one for me. I wasn't sure where to go with this. I wanted to try making a bracelet out of the windowpanes, but the sizes I had left weren't working out. The bracelet eventually turned out into a nametag necklace. We are often asked to wear nametags at team events and I thought I could make something a little fancier for myself, using the color combo I had chosen for the December Creative Crew challenges.
I spelled out my name using the Empire Lower Alphabet. Isn't this new alphabet awesome?? I really like how it looks!
The crown charm is a little nod to the fact that my team is named Dames en art (Queens of Art). I repeated the crown with an embossed image, that I handcut, trimmed with rhinestones and glued on the front of the windowpane for dimension. I added a bit of ruffled ribbon at the bottom of the windowpane and used some Concord Crush ribbon to hang the nametag from.
Sorry for the poor picture - I wasn't sure what to hang the necklace from and the windowpanes are hard to photograph.
I'm so sad to be giving my final bow from the Creative Crew team, but I've seen the names of the new recruits and I know the CC team is in good hands! Thanks to everyone who followed along during those fun and fab four months!

Perfect name tag for your demo events! Maybe I'll see you with it at Leadership?
