This was another wonderfully inspiring site, Stef! Hey, everyone...happy small business Saturday. I will be back to fill in the details of this card...gotta go stimulate the local economy.
To say I loved Glenna Jean is an understatement! I could play in those rooms for months. Birdsong stole my heart away, though. I had to give another try at recreating the actual room.
Try as I might, I could not get just the right feeling for the collage last night. I had to turn the light out in my studio and hope that the light of day would bring a new perspective. And indeed it did. I hope you will be able to get the Asian vibe, the color story and that funky quote by Oscar Wilde.
This will be given to a friend who has made some very serious life changes this season. I applaud her courage and am so excited for her. While change is never easy, once we can get far enough along the path and look back, we usually see how we've grown, what was necessary, and a certain amount of gratitude overflows. This I wish for my friend.
Happy weekend, all. Thanks for stopping to visit my room.

Susan, you really captured the room and gave it extra flair and whimsy! I chose the same bedding, but mine became a sympathy card, too heavy. I hope this cheers your friend, the sentiment makes me smile.

This is a wonderfully true sentiment - if we all looked at life this way and took on the spirit of adventure - the world would be a much better place (at least in our mind). Have you ever read any books by SARK? This sentiment and the card remind me of her. Hugz to you Susan!!!
