This card was made for the Queen for a Day challenge honoring DawnL a long time friend here at SCS. I chose this card for my inspiration and actually went to the new CHF store and bought the digi image when I saw her card. I changed my card a bit but the inspiration was all from Dawn!
I also used this card for the Inspiration this week and went with the red, green and blue you see in this bedroom set and the closest I got to brown was my snowmanÂ’s skis.
The image was colored with Copic markers: snowman shading C0,1, carrot nose – YR02,04,07, C00, Sweater and Hat– G28,29,82, bands – C00,0,1, hearts – R29,39,59, skis – W1,3,5
The sky was created by heat embossing the snowflakes with a solid white mixed with glitter powder then I used my hand made cloud template to sponge on the area between the clouds and I did this with a dragging motion starting on the template and pulling off. I have a pattern posted on my blog linked below in the right side bar if youÂ’d like to make your own template.
The snow is torn cardstock which is matching on both sides so with one tear I flip one over and create the two larger slopes then added a smaller layer at the bottom and stamped on the sentiment and added the stacked snowflakes using tacky glue.
Paper: unknown white textured, The Paper Company green textured, Bazzill red, Beckett Expressions Iceberg for image, DCWV glitter cardstock
Ink: Computer for snowman image, VersaMark for snowflake embossing, Memento – Tuxedo Black for sentiment, Ranger Distress Ink – Stormy Sky for sponging

Roxie, what a cute, cute image of the skiing snowman is his great looking Nordic sweater. Love the sky you created behind him and the torn-edge snow slopes.
