This weeks challenge: A RECIPE!! Use ribbon, lace, and some glitter with any ODBD stamps. All the details for the challenge will be on the blog this Saturday, Nov. 26th. Please use the keyword ODBDSLC86, so we can see your creations. DonÂ’t forget to enter your card in the challenge on the blog.
Taking a break from Christmas Cards this week, I chose the ODBD set, Grow in Grace – I love the sentiments in this set, as they are able to be used in so many situations!
First, I layered some Pink Pirouette DP over some Close to Cocoa DP and stitched them together including my strip of Pink GG ribbon and 2 strips of brown ‘lace’ across the middle, then attached to my card base. I chose the sentiment for my central focus, popped up on pink and cocoa layers, and used the cut flower images as popped up embellishments on 2 of the corners, balancing it out with the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish on the opposing corners. Glittered up the flowers, and it was done.
