Free for all F4A92 challenge is to make a holiday card in black and white in honour of Black Friday! Well I'm Canadian and many of my friends go cross border shopping for Black Friday, but you could not get me near stores under those crazy, crowded conditions. In fact, I avoid stores near my own home as many offer Canadian Black Friday specials!
I actually CASEd myself with this card since I liked the layout I did the other day. I started with a black card base and added a Very Vanilla layer embossed with a Tim Holz snowflake folder. Punched out a half circle on the right side of the card and then tied some SU striped ribbon tied with some gold cording.
Stamped my image in black and then matted it with black cardstock and popped it up on a slight angle. Added a peel and stick sentiment that I first coloured with a black Copic.
Thanks for taking a peek - and Happy Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping to all my US SCS friends

I love the gorgeous clean, simplicity of this design, Laurie - so perfect in black and white with just a touch of gold - the punched out bit is so creative!

Laurie, what a wonderful Chrsitmas card. It looks great in the black/white. The striped ribbon and how you used it is such a great accent with your beautifully embossed bg.
