This is for F4A92 to use black and white winter card showcasing black. This is also for QFTD88 to honor my dear talented friend DawnL. Congratulations on your royal status this week, Dawn! I didn't have to look long into Dawn's gallery to find inspiration. Each and every card is a treasure. I was especially inspired by her window cards allowing me to use my new window die. Here are a couple of Dawn's gorgeous window scenes. I kept Dawn's winter holiday theme creating a simple and stark outdoor tree scene. I used the black and white theme for the F4A challenge but changed Dawn's pinecones window embellishment to an evergreen Christmas wreath with red balls and bow. I created the little wreath by punching out a 3/4" circle, cutting into the circle and cutting another small circle inside the circle, When I got finished I had a tiny ring to form the wreath. I cut the top portion off of several pine sprigs to make them small enough for the tiny wreath. I clear embossed red cardstock and punched out several 1/8" circles to use for the Christmas balls on the wreath and attached them with glossy accents.
