This card will be going with the Vintage Bird tag that is pictured in another photo. It is for a lady I met at the craft store. We struck up a conversation and have become friends. I like to make cards while she is a Master cake maker. You meet the nicest people in craft stores, don't you think?
Well, I tried to keep the theme the same. Kinda of vintagy and using birds. This image was cut out with pinking shears and stitched. I used Crafty Secrets scraps and My Mind's Eye dp. I also used Melissa Frances resin embellishment, which I brushed with Ranger distressing ink to age it a little. I added the wings and a deep blue half pearl to accent the color of the bird.
A seam binding bow was tied onto a pink satin ribbon. Flowers and small tags from PTI was added to that. I ran a lenght of Prima lace along side of the middle panel.
The ribbon was cut with pinking shears and all the panels and tags were brushed with distressing ink. I brushed all the panels with Mod Podge using a sponge brush. I love those brushstrokes.
Well, that's about it. Hope she likes and I hope you do, too.
TFL!

I was told by a reliable source that you have an awesome gallery and now I see why. This is astounding. I couldn't make this come together in a million years. Beautiful bird and details!
