Here's my November swap card for the swap group I participate in. We had the options of making a card for either New Year's, Inspirational or Belated Birthday. I've had this cute little snowman and the noisemaker forever, and haven't used him at all recently. It was time to revive him and put him to good use. The holographic paper used behind the main image is actually a very thin mylar ribbon. While it was kind of flimsy to work with and affix, I think it worked out beautifully. Of course, the camera never quite captures all the nuances of holographic paper, so I guess you'll just have to take my word for it that it shimmers and shines in all the colors of the rainbow. The same goes for the adhesive sparkle paper that I attached to the star.
I hope my "swap" friends will like this. TFL!
