AudreyAnn and I went to a stamp convention recently and on display were these beautiful stamps and a demo on how to make a stained glass effect. It seemed a lot easier when they did it, but I gave it a whirl!
Please don't look to closely or you will find out I still have some practicing to do, but I just love the full glitter effect and I've always loved stained glass.
Since the image did most of the work, I just added a poinsettia embossing frame, gold ribbon and snowflakes with red bling.
Thanks so much for taking time to look and I hope to get better at this technique in the future. It makes BEAUTIFUL butteflies.

Wow, Pam, this is totally beautiful and elegant! I'd say you don't need any practice - as this is way beyond awesome! Your pretty gold ribbon is the perfect topper - but the sparkle throughout this image is gorgeous. And, look at the red/green Christmas embellies surrounding the wonderful card for your photo! Beautiful colors abound!

Pam, I am wondering if you went to CK Convention as I saw the glitter too at the one here in Jacksonville. Did you do this on acetate? It is gorgeous. I love things sparkly. I swear I constantly have glitter on me from using it when making my card...lol I used a whole jar of Martha Stewart glitter this morning...lol The poinsettia on this card look amazing. and the stain glass effect around it is spectacular. What a beauty. I think you did a perfect job on this. Just wonderful.
