This is for Mothermark's "Cards for a Cause" in the forum. This month the cards are going to the
Ma. General Hospital Cancer Center.
Since last month we did the HYCCT challenge here on SCS, the Mudder sent out a desperate (just a little) plea to all her Teapotters to send some more cards to this worthy cause.
I depleted a huge chunk of my stash for the HYCCT cause, and the Mudder did ask for masculine cards, so this one could be considered masculine.
This telescoping or stacked card is all from 1 sheet of dp. The gingham is all the backside, while the lighthouse and the sentiment are on the front. I still have a few useable scraps left too!
I had made a card like this awhile back and never posted it, due to the fact that I entered it into a contest. Well, I didn't get a call or letter that I had won, so I made another that is similar in the fact that it uses the same sheet of dp. So much for a really neat card, IMO.
Hopefully this will "shine a light" for someone at the Ma. General Cancer Ctr.

Too bad you didn't win that contest. But I have found they don't like anything "different". Which I think is just defeating their purpose. I think the card is great so you have won in my mind.

This is very inspirational! I have been thinking about trying one of this type of card for what seems like forever. I think this beauty has made up my mind for sure to give it a try. What a great idea that allows an image that would normally not be useable on a card to be used. tfs
