3rd in my series of Matchbook Valentines made to hold (and match) "shoe" shaped sticky notes (see my gallery for #1 and 2). This one ended up getting a little involved.
Started with a piece of wax paper resist BG I had in my scraps (it had been brayered with a K-pad that matched the colors I needed). Embossed palm tree on vellum with choc chip craft ink and clear EP. Colored back of vellum with markers and adhered vellum to wax paper resist piece.
I didn't have any sentiments I wanted to use, so I printed on my computer "Kick off your shoes...Relax...Enjoy the tropical breeze...Sip some rum punch". I cut the words into strips and adhered them as a frame. All of that was adhered to a choc chip piece of CS. Photo corners were silver so I coated them with choc chip craft and embossed with clear EP. Ribbon is soft and fuzzy - from Fabric Barn. Everything here was really easy - just lots of steps. Had a lot of fun with this. Thanks for looking.
