Today's free for all is to make this adorable little treat box. The tutorial can be found here.
I decided to use this Basic Grey ornament designer paper and make a matching ornament card. Well, as you can see, you should pay attention to which direction your paper is!!! I have magical ornaments on my little box - they can hang straight SIDEWAYS!!!
Seriously, this is a fun, easy-to-do project - thanks, Wendy!

Oh Vicky, you are so funny! I love your card and treat box! Well done (even if the ornaments hang sideways LOL!)

Wow, I am seeing matching cards w everyone's box. I feel like such a slouch after feeling so great about making a box (not my forte). Beautiful combo for a Christmas treat for someone, even with the sideways ornaments. No one but us will know...

You know, Vicky, I was thinking about the direction of patterns when I was making my card earlier this morning -- hoping that the stripes would be going in the right direction when I was finished. Fortunately, they were. But, as you said, your ornaments are magic -- Harry Potter's been to your house!!! I do like the way you did the fold-over piece.

They look like a lovely garland to me! I'd be perfectly happy with this.
I was taking great care to get my stripes running the way I wanted - but I had the advantage of the one Lorraine sent me sitting on the table so I could easily see which way to score!
