Working on completing all the HYCCT challenges. This one incorporates a heart. I finally got to use this wonderful Gina K set that has fabulous sentiments and images. I bought this set for this wonderful quote from Christopher Reeves "Once you choose hope, anything's possible." What an inspiration he was.
I also used the sketch challenge for this week as I didn't like my first submission. I experimented with combining pink and red, which I rarely do, but using this retired Bella DSP made it easy. The heart was inked in Pretty in Pink and then I used rock n roll technique using Cherry Cobbler to get this look.

Kathy this is so pretty! The paper is indeed a perfect choice for this lovely theme and layout. So glad that you are having an opportunity to do these challenges...{hugz}

Kathy, your card is just beautiful. I just saw a card from the teaparty and then went and read this week's destination station. Kathy, my heartfelt sympathy with the loss of your sister. I am so sorry to hear this. What a tragedy for the family. I am so terribly sorry.
