Today's my third day in a row (some kind of a record) of doing the Splitcoast daily challenges. I did the HYCCT challenges almost every day in October and found a "void" when I was done. I decided to take on the Splitcoast challenges (or at least as many as I can do). I had NO newspaper in the house but I did have a city paper (Blaine Community Resources & Residents Guide) that I ripped a couple of pages out of and mounted onto cardstock using my Xyron. I used one sheet as background paper which I sponged for more color and the other to punch out the butterflies. I used Bold and Basic Greetings so the print would show on the "back ground paper". I think baloons would have been more fitting but you can't put pearls on balloons and I would have had to drag my cricut out since I don't have a balloon punch.
Thanks for looking!

I love the way you used the bold blue to highlight elements on your card. Had to laugh reading about how you missed the challenges- welcome to our world! I always say that my stamping keeps me out of trouble as I am busy every day working on some challenge. Happy to have you with us on these.

How smart to Xyron the papers together. The blue is pretty!
