This was a very fun project, especially when I discovered the lighter color tan clipboards which don't have to be painted before stamping on them! I used craft inks and stamped directly onto the board with NO PREP WORK!!! whoo hoo! I did heat set them briefly with my embossing tool but I don't think they would have smeared anyway, also gave a very light sealing coat with Krylon matte sealer to protect from stains. I made two of these as gifts for my Memphis stampin' buddies Jane and Candice who gave us the guided tour during Leadership.

I LOVE it! Where do you get the lighter clipboards? I have never seen them. The sealer you used - is it the spray sealer? Thanks for sharing! It is perfect!

In answer to one of the above questions, I used the Krylon clear matte spray sealer and I found the clipboards at WalMart. This was the only kind they had at my WallyWorld but it turned out ok.
