This card was made for one of the the November Creative Crew challenges.
I am totally in love with this new Christmas stamp! I used my markers to ink the sentiment and ornaments in various colours and matted the image using an Early Espresso piece of cardstock that was punched with the Scallop Trim corner and border punches. I "hung" the main image from Cherry Cobbler scallop ribbon and added a vintage brad on top of the bow.
To decorate the bottom of the easel card, I used the Stocking Accents die and die-cut an ornament out of chipboard and then covered it with patterned paper. (No need for sanding when you are using a die to cut the paper, too!) The center was stamped with one of the images from the Delightful Decorations set, and I added a pearl and a ribbon knot. The same ribbon was also added to the right side of the top part of the card so that it would look like the ornament is hanging from it.
I used a piece of die-cut rickrack from the matching deco elements as a "stopper" for the card when it is standing up. Some of the decorative borders were also used in the middle of the cardbase top.
Check out the SCS tutorial on how to make an easel card (so easy, I promise!) and come play with us! You know you want to!
