This is my card for the inspiration challenge #308 inspired by the book 'cry baby calf'. I know, it's a bit of a stretch, but when I saw this digital image from Bugaboo Stamps, I knew it would be perfect for a birthday card for my little brother, who is turning 59 on the 31st. He's in town for the weekend, so I get to see him today.
The background is faux leather, created by crumpling up a piece of card stock and then coloring it with tea dye distress stain and a coating of matte gel medium. The faux wood piece was left over from another project. The brads are also faux - circles punched from grungeboard & colored with copic black marker.

Oh my Melody, you had me with the cow! hehe The rest is just icing on the cake, so to speak. What an adorable card with just the cutest cow ever! Your faux leather is fabulous. I just love everything about this card. Well done! Have fun visiting with your "little" brother. TFS :0)
