I made this card for The Play Date Cafe Challenge 104. It's their 2nd anniversary with a lot of fun prizes. The colors to use were a purple, saffron, and artichoke, and this is the result. I also tried the new Hero Arts/Sizzix combination stamps and die-cuts and they rock. There's a tutorial link on my blog as to how to use these and what they're all about. They also have embossing folders/stamps combinations too that yield beautiful results. The set that I used was called Floral. I wish that I had done a little Rock 'n Roll technique to several elements of this card, but since this was my first time using them, I figured I'd best just get it down on paper first. My sketch was hijacked from Ruby2Shoes, who is also a design team member from The Play Date Cafe, from an earlier card that she did.
Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today and God bless you. Additional photographs and the video is directly linked to my blog for this project at Cindy Coutts Designs.
