Our Daily Bread Designs challenge this week to use 3 geometric shapes. All the details for the challenge will be on the blog this Saturday, Oct, 22nd. Please use the keyword ODBDSLC81, so we can see your creations, and donÂ’t forget to enter your card in the challenge on the blog.
I started with a card base of pink, then a blue layer, topped with DP – next, stamped the flowers and one of the Scriptures from the ODBD set, Don’t Worry, on white. Colored image with copics, and cut out with the Lacey Square nestie and threaded a piece of blue organdy ribbon around the scalloped edges and tied it into a bow. Next I mounted that on a piece of pink cs, then on the card front with some pink organdy across the bottom. I added a triangle with the butterfly from this set on lower corner, and then some punched leaves and branches with flowers above the butterfly - Touched with stickles and silver glass glitter – and done.
If you have a minute, I would love to know what you think! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you can join us in the challenge this week!

Sue, love the flowers, glitter, cool ribbon treatment, and especially that verse. It is a verse, I have to repeat to myself all day long (or actually that I need to repeat to myself all day long). If we could all get back all the time we wasted on worry - we could make a lot of cards then - LOL! Hugz!

First, let me say this card caught my eye before I even saw your name next to it. Love the colors, and you certainly lived up the challenge with the shapes....who doesn't like a little sparkle on their cards....and without a doubt the scripture just rocks!!! Absolutely lovely card.

Sue, your floral arrangement is gorgeous, but what I love the most is the sentiment. It brings peace and we need that. What a beautiful combination! Your glitter and ribbon make this card like a gift- and that is precious. Great job!

Your card has everything that represents God! I marvel with the birds, the flowers, the BFs ... everything that shouts of God's loving kindness. Your card is exquisite with so many wonderful things to look at, Sue.
