This weeks challenge was to use the faux tile technique. I scored a one inch grid on my cardstock then sponged Sahara sand on every other tile using a 1" square punched in a piece of paper for a mask. The leaves are a sizzix die (the first one I ever purchased I think) with artichoke sponged to accent the leaves. I am not sure where the flourishes came from but the fine crackle is from Hero Arts and of course the flower is the scallop punch layered with some fine netting I got from the $tore. A little heat was added to the netting to make it melt a little bit.

Now this is the technique I want to try...using scores as your tile pieces...clever!! I LOVE how you did the corners and edges of this with a crackle type stamp...goes great with your netted flower!
