This week we have Hocus Pocus, Snarks, Battleaxe Betty and 3 sweet young things. Our cards are going to Elsie who really needs to have a Happy Birthday. She has had so much sadness in her life this year. Her son was the co-pilot of the helicopter shot down in Afghanistan with 30 military onboard. We need cupcakes, tea and violets to send to Elsie.
The base is pale plum embossed with tapestry folder. The cupcake and the teapot and cup were stamped with black momento on white cs and then layered on pink pirouette cs. The icing and cherry were stamped twice, cut out and then glue and diamond dust were added to the icing and sugar cubes. Dimensionals were used to give some depth to the cupcake. The little violets were made using a SU flower punch and MS fern punch. Added pearls and white lace to finish it off. Hope it brings Elsie some joy. tfl

Hey you! Just about the time I get used to you being late, you show up early! Snort! You keep me on my toes, don't you! Ooh, Oooh, Ooh, what a nice card this is for Elsie! I love all of the images you chose for this card and that sparkley frosting is da bomb and the *cherry bomb* is too!
Hey Faith, can you teach the teapotters to pour their tea like this? It might solve our problem of getting excited looking at a card that just came in the door while pouring tea.....you know, the whole.....you should not pour tea while not looking at the cup....thing! If we could train our tea pourers like you did, there would not be that extra clean up we have to do every week! Snort!

So pretty!! I love the embossed bg. It' also really neat the way you created the steam coming out of the tea cup. I'm sure this will bring joy to Elsie.

Ooohhh... I bet this is amazing IRL! Love the sparkle on your frosting and sugar cubes, and the lace, pearls and embossing really make this beauty a standout in the gallery!
