A second card for Libby's challenge to use paint. Using my acrylics and then going off to do the housework gave them all the time they needed to dry .
For this one I used the Acrylic Distress technique.
Base is grey card.
Acrylic layer is white card embossed with Paisley folder and painted with pink acrylic. After it was dry I sanded it, sponged it with Pumice Stone distress ink and then wiped with a damp cloth. Edges distressed and sponged with Vintage Photo.
Rubbadubbadoo owl stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks - Antique Linen, Pumice Stone, Vintage Photo, Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, Milled Lavender for those tired eyes - and cut out. Branch is a Dienamics die, sponged with inks.
Computer-generated sentiment cut with Spellbinders Double Ended Tags and a pearl brad added.
I love how this turned out - I think I'll have to make another one for my own stash.
