I made it for my cousin who had nine cats. In fact, I told her 'even though you vacuum w/your super-sucker Kirby every day, after I come home from a day of visiting, I don't know whether to put my clothes in the hamper or pet them?!?' I also told her sometimes I thought I heard the clothes "meow." Heehee!
Her ordinarily great crew of cats were all beautiful, personable, sweet and very well behaved (okay, except on occasion, two were ill-mannered!) BUT look out when the holiday decorations came out! The good ones got bad, and the two kinda bad ones, got worse! So ... the outside of this card is "OH OH OH" and on the inside I will add "NO NO NO, Bad Kitty, Bad Kitty, Bad Kitty!!!" I'm working on stamping a barren tree w/"broken" ornaments, tangled lights and tinsel on the floor. I'll need til Christmas to get that just right! Anyway, it was a fun to make, "tailor-made" card for her. It is also for the F4A86 "character" challenge (make a card for a specific person.)
Sorry this is so long but I had to tell my story and I wanna give ya'll a few details since they might not be clearly seen in the pic. The hats were stamped, polka dotted, glittered, and glossy accented. The bows are a Cuttlebug butterfly die cut, that I trimmed, polka dotted, and glossy accented. The panels are cut from a PTI die. All inked w/Ranger di and cats stamped in Memories black. The crimped bg paper is a pre-embossed DCWV, stamped with a Hero Arts holiday bg word stamp. The NovTex felt ribbon was HOHOHO. The base is a Michael's dark blue.
THANKS FOR LOOKING!

I haven't put a tree up for two years because of the cats! lol And the cat fur is unbelievable! I should take up knitting or weaving with it! Your card is so darn fun and cute! Those kitties just make me smile! TFS

What a fun card and story! We don't have cats but we do have two parrots. Up until a few yrs ago, the youngest would sneak over to the tree and snip the sequins off the tree skirt. He's always been impressed by "shiny" stuff, lol.

What a cute card! I love cats, but I am down to one. Because of my cancer and bone marrow transplant, I am not allowed to get a new pet for a year! I love my kittie that I have but I want another. Yes, yes, yes!
