Oh boy am I late with this one! This is my card for the Teapot Tuesday challenge from last week! Normally when I get Cindy's cheater email, by the time I have skipped to the 'Destination Translation' I already have an idea of what I'm going to do. For this one, I had stripes buzzing around in my head and I knew I was going to do something with fishing. Last night, I completely coloured a super cute fishing image. I put it aside to go and check Cindy's email about the stripes. THEN, I read Cindy's 2nd email (which I had already read!) saying NOT to mention Chip's dog. The image I coloured was of a puppy with a fishing pole in his mouth . . . oops! So, here is my card for Chip :-) To read more about what I'm blabbering about, please see here: Teapot Tuesday Destination Station - OLD INFO by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers post #250.
Printed digi and coloured with prismacolour pencils and OMS to blend. Printed sentiment and cut out with fiskars scissors. Distressed the edges of both pieces with ink. Attached the striped dp. Attached the partial silver border as shown. Attached the main image then added the sentiment. Added stickles to brighten up my fish. tfl

Second email? That one must have slipped through my net. Or maybe it's only part of the cheater network...I'm sure you'll find a suitable use for your first card, but this one is gorgeous, love that sparkly shimmery fish.
