Today's HYCCT challenge reminded us that we are ALL touched by breast cancer whether directly or indirectly and challenged us to make a collage in pinks. I tried one of the techniques linked to the challenge called serendipity http://www.artwithoutanxiety.com/ I began with a base of Whisper White and used Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose ink pads to smear the direct to paper bg. I then stamped the leaves in Early Espresso and the Flowers in Rose Red doing some masking along the way to fill in my flowers between the leaves. I then smeared Versamark over the entire paper and spread clear ep and sprinkled a little gold ep in the first coat then did the same for a second clear coat. This was then cut out with the Top Note die and I hand cut along the "stitching" and layered on to of another die cut in early espresso. I used Rose Red seam binding to make a ruffled ribbon and a big antique brad bow. The sentiment has the flourish inked in Pink Pirouette and rocknrolled in Rose Red and stamped twice with Hope inked in versamark and Early Espresso embossed in clear ep.I then punched it with the Designer Label punch. It was sponged before layering over 2 punched labels that were pieced together behind it. The card base is Pink Pirouette stamped in the same and sponged along the edges.
I will definitely be using this technique again as it makes a great sheet of paper from which to make several cards. Thanks to Patty (pattyb) for sharing it with us in the challenge

Wowza you rocked this one! Glad you liked the technique, but I'm not sure what I like the most about your card, all of the elements come together perfectly!
