Super sketch today! I think my right side panel is a little larger and because of it I had to move the sentiment, but the basics are still there.
The cardinal was colored w/ markers and I used my out of the box Nestie technique. This was probably one of the most out of the box images I've tried w/ this technique and it took a little doing.
On the pine green and white panels, I stamped a pine bough w/ the green ink and over stamped the dots w/ the gold ink. I used a dk red marker to ink the first line only of the sentiment. The dk red panel behind the cardinal was embossed w/ the distressed stripes ef and I used the 3 different sizes of corner rounders on most of the edges. The edging of the panels was done w/ a Permapaque gold marker. I added some highlights (probably can't see them) on the pine cones and branches w/ the gold gel pen.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

So gorgeous, Julie. The 'out of the box' with this image is super. Nothing prettier than a cardinal on a pine branch in winter...always a beautiful sight.

What a beautiful holiday card! I really like the look of the stamped pine boughs as your dp underneath the cardinal..really ties in with the bird image!
