Curt set out on a fishing trip looking for some peace and quiet. Strange things started happening. Let me explain. He blew a whistle, which someone who we wonÂ’t name names, told him would make the fish hungry so he could better catch them. Yeah right! Instead, it made the fish appear to be black and white striped with big red lips!
Then when he opened up his can of worms, which were brown in color but once they crawled out, the brown went away and b/w stripes appeared! Go figure.
So either Curt is light headed and seeing things because of blowing on that whistle or someone has spiked his water! hehe Oh well. Must be Teapot Tuesday cuz strange things are appearing in the gallery!......Okay, not too strange, just lots of black and white stripes!....my card(s)Â….
More strange things happening here just happened to find a card in my stash that fit perfectly with this card. SO it will be going to Karen and the other one to Chip. How cool is that? Â…..Unbelievably cool!....now the detailsÂ….
Things stamped: small trees, large trees, worms, rocks, tent, and campfire. The clouds and sun were sponged after some masking was done. Coloring was done with a combo of thingsÂ…copics, stylus & SoHo colored pencils and sharpie markers. The big lips and eyes and Curt and can of worms and hat and boat Â…..Mutnik sketching.....correction, the big lips are compliments of the computer except for the ones on the big striped fish.
I then layered my image panels with white cs that I ran a red sharpie around on the edges. Just happened to have this blue cs that I think goes perfectly with my scenes. Added the blue ribbon bow to make the second card a tad more girly! heheÂ…guess I really didnÂ’t find this in my stash after all.
Well I am off to the grocery store before DS brings DGS over. I will be in and out viewing all your fab-o cards and commenting as much as I can. Have a great day all!......TFL :0)

Such fun cards as always, Cathy. I think my favourite detail is those little stripy worms - they're CUTE. Not often you can say that about worms. I wouldn't like to think that there's anybody around who'd spike the water, so we'll settle for the hyperventilating option ;-).

Both cards are fantastic, Cathy! Can't believe you had a matching one to Chip's for Karen! Curt is looking mighty happy fishing away! Love your creativity!

Cathy, a couple of awesome cards! Love your camping scene with that big lipped bass, is his name Mick Jagger?!? Curt and his "referee" worms are a stitch.... Nicely done!!
