I'm all for compromise and seeing both sides of the story, so my card aims to show the Jumbaliahs that there's room for vertical and horizontal, room for referees and players. Neither would perform to their best without the other, after all .
So funny that it's a fishing story this week - I was only looking at the stamp of Snoopy sitting on the dock fishing this week and thinking it was time I added it to my collection for the next time the Tuesday Tea Party went fishin'.
5 3/4" square base, sponged with black.
Papers are Basic Grey Lime Rickey. After sticking the striped triangle onto the blue one I set a brass eyelet in each corner and threaded the ribbon through. I'd hoped to add a red bead in the centre but no go...
Fish and seaweed (yes, it is actually stamped on the stained-glass paper) are from Pink Cat Studio. The fish were stamped on Bristol Board with Versafine Black. JJ was coloured with black paint, and SJ was just sprayed with water and sponged with distress inks to match the paper - with a wobbly eye added.
I know it's autumn - do I ever, as I look at the rain and grey sky - but I'm packing some Derbyshire Easter Spiced Cake in my lunch box, as it's tasty and isn't likely to crumble packed into the lunch box as we sit by the lake and fish.

Hey Sabrina, have you seen your lunch box? I was gonna hide it! Snort! OMG! You sure do have the whole verticle, horizontal thing going on! I love your referee stripes and our traditional horizontal rainbow colors! This card rocks...so fun! I see now that there can be both living together! You have a knack for having all the answers!
hmm...snoopy fishing! Woot! Sounds so fun! Something you need for sure! Love this card!

This is one Snazzy aquarium, Sabrina!! I sure do like the great bg papers you have used, JJ and SJ sure have some mighty fine swimming quarters!! I like how SJ matches the dp that's behind him! Is he a chameleon fish?
Stained glass paper, now that sounds very interesting
