No one can ever call Curt lazy. He happened upon these potted flowers of the miniature kind, saw that they were in need of water so off he went to get the hose and give them a sprinkle. Now if this was in Colorado where it tends to snow and get real cold and perhaps you forgot to disconnect the hose from the spigot, he would probably have to first let the ice cubes flow through the stiff hose! hehe BUT no problem-O. We are headed to Arizona!...or should I say, our cardÂ’s are about Arizona or southwestern stuff. Hey, do yourself a favor and go here to read all about itÂ…Â….now my cardÂ…..
DH has lots of southwestern kind of pots. So I was inspired by them to make my pots here. I used ovals and a circle for them, Zentangled the designs and colored with copics.
Drew Gardener Curt, hose, fence and part of the teapot. Oh and the stem and leaves. The flowers are compliments of the internet. Coloring was done with copics except for the fence and CurtÂ’s sombrero, which was done with a stylus and prisma pencils. The teapot house was first painted with light molding medium, then dabbed color on using chalk pastels. Window, shelf and clay pot copics.
Stamped the Judith grass and SU leaves and sponged the clouds using RR cloud stencil. Then sponged the grass. Lots of masking done here. My trick for that is print out a b/w copy of the scene/image on regular paper, then cut out the parts I need, much easier than re-stamping or drawing. hehe
Well, that is it once again. Hope you have enjoyed another Teapot Tuesday with Curt cardÂ…..Have a splendid Tuesday everyone!......TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Thinking of you today. Hi NC Sis!
P.SÂ…Â…btw, I guess itÂ’s true, big hats DO make your butt look smaller. Why just look at CurtÂ’s, it has practically disappeared Â…..Note to self, buy big sombrero! Â….. hehe :0)

Curt the cow, Curt the cow,
how does your garden grow?
With ethnic pots and green green grass
And purple flowers all in a row...
Don't remind me about pipes and freezing water - last winter our washing machine out in the shed froze up and it was two weeks before I could do a wash. Love Curt's sombrero, and I'm happy to see he's such a green-hoofed critter.

Cathy, Curt is quite the gardner!! I love his southwestern pots and those great flowers!! Cute sombrero he has on too, does he market those, especially a really, really big one - I love the butt reducing idea?!? Just a lovely, lovely little scene from our resident artist!! I really love Curt's little tea house too!! I am sure if we could see it all it looks like our teapot this week!!

What a positively fabulous 'Curt' scene. If I only knew that cows coud do all this, I'd have got one instead of a cat! Though I live in a small condo......not so sure that'd work!
Love your pots and the bit of tea pot I can see! Is that' someone special' to Curt that is sitting there keeping an eye on him? Curt steals the show once again. Fabulous drawings! TFS. : )

Curt looks good as a gardener. Wow Cathy, I just read all the techniques you used to create this masterpiece. They are all brilliant. The effect you achieved on the straw hat is wonderful.
