DSP/Color Focus Challenge: This month, you can use ANY holiday-themed DSP. You MUST use DSP on your project, not just the color combo from DSP.
I didnÂ’t have any holiday-themed DSP in my stash, but I DID have this great piece from Well Worn, which I thought would be perfect for a Halloween card!
I used Razzleberry, Black and Suede cardstock. I stamped “BOO” with Lovely Letters in white craft ink on Suede CS, sprinkled black EP on the still wet letters and brushed some of it off before setting it to create the kind of “worn” look to the letters. I also sponged Choco chip and white on the word after it was embossed.
The owl is wearing a White vest sponged in Razzleberry ink and is popped up on dimensionals.
The ribbon “bats” were a complete accident… I wanted to add a bit of ribbon, but thought a bow would be a bit much… so I decided just a simple half-knot would work… and when I looked at it, I thought “OH, my! That looks like a bat! I’m totally putting two of them on here!” They are stuck on with mini glue dots.
Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy playing the DSP challenge!
