Funny coincidence today. Dawnmercedes(Dawn) gave us the challenge to "Color Block" on our cards for today's F4A Challenge. Over on the Queen for the Day Challenge, Trish selected Dawn for Queen.
I guess I could have cased Dawn's card for today's sample....that would have been the easiest! : ) But I chose THIS CARD of hers where she used a patterned stripe for her bg. I hope it counts, but I created my own striped bg DP by gluing down strips......sort of "color blocking", I think.

What a great CASE. I really like the prints and colors of your blocks. Your image is colored so prettily and that button treatment is just perfect with all of it.

This is gorgeous, Sallie. Makes me think of a kitchen or dining room with the wallpaper and a beautiful picture on the wall with a chair rail below. Gives me a warm country feel - perfect for fall.
