I was at a local bargain store that had scrap booking supplies (marked down to start with) on BOGO special and I saw this pretty MS striped grosgrain ribbon. It just happened to include two of this week's challenge colors. I have been wanting to try one of stamper camper's big bows with a brad using this tutorial http://stampercamper.com/cardpost/making_bows so that was the start of this card. I started by making the bg paper which really didn't photograph well...I sprayed a piece of Pool Party with a home-made glimmer spray made with white shimmer paint and used a Texturz plate to emboss it. I framed that piece with some Early Espresso and rounded the corners. I stamped the bird onto Confetti Cream cs then sponged Pool Party and Cherry Cobbler onto it. I found the ribbon flowers at a different bargain store and after MUCH playing around with layout I finally made myself stop with what you see here. I really love the rich color combination this week.
