This card is in honor of today's Featured Stamper Sue (aka Bensarmom). WOW - what a gallery Sue has, some 4600 cards. There are so many beauties to choose from, there is no reason to play along
I actually combined elements from two of her cards into mine. Here are the cards I cased:
Both of Sue's cards have leaves, but one has a single leaf with script - so on my panel I combined the 2 leaves from her one card with the single on the other, added the script, offset my panel to the side, embossed the background , kept the ribbon but have it in front of image and behind the sentiment. On the upload it looks like the border is black but the dp is actually chocolate brown.
I made this card for a friend of mine to give to her estranged step-Father. It has been years since she spoke to him and is feeling led to contact him - so I told her I would make a card for her to send in order to break the ice. Since it is fall, I thought I would make one with an autumn feel to it.
Thanks so much to Sue for her inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look, hope you like it

Barb, what a beautiful card for your friend...with a special purpose in mind. Perfect sentiment. Love your lovely neutral bg with your gorgeous fall leaves.
