This is another card that I thought of when I saw the challenge to use brown bags in our cards today. I wanted to use the sketch from yesterday as well. I was inspired by SC351 - Cardboard & Leaves by BobbiesGirl at Splitcoaststampers by Bobbiesgirl. I liked the way her cardboard ended up looking like bark and thought the brown bag could look similar too. As I did in my other card I really distressed the bag to break down the fibers then added a wood grain with the Distressed Texturz plate inked in Crumb Cake. For the leaves I inked with Soft Suede then thumped with a bunch of other markers to add some color....the one stamped on Mustard is my favorite...and also used the spatter image over the leaf too! I added a bg piece textured in the Houndstooth ef and also distressed and sponged it. Added some distressed hemp and a greeting to complete the card.

Very nice card! I had the same thought as fluffylemonade ... rustic and so autumn! Your paper bag pieces do look like wood! Carol (BobbiesGirl) will be happy you found inspiration in her card.

I have no idea what you're talking about with your techiques, but your card is certainly very pretty and very autumnal. I should go and research your techiques.
