For today's WT. We don't really have paper lunch bags here - the only paper bag I could find was a white one from the pharmacy. I keep them for using when I'm roasting and peeling sweet peppers .
I decided to try Foxy Oxi which was the *from the archives* tutorial in the Inkling this week - I thought that the slightly coated finish on the bag would help resist the water and add to the bleached effect.
I used Scattered Straw, Peeled Paint and Broken glass on part of the bag and followed the tutorial, using a heat gun to dry it before brushing the Vanish off. Stamped verse and image from ODBD with Versafine Black. I used more scraps of the bag sponged with Scattered Straw and Spiced Marmalade to make the flower, using Spellbinder's Rose Creations. Base is A2, sponged with Peeled Paint distress stain. I stitched around my paper bag panel and stuck it on to the base. Added some Liquid Pearls to the centre of the rose, and some punched leaves sponged with Forest Moss. I didn't try using the bag for them - I've had fine paper jam punches in the past...

Sabrina, this is beautiful! I must read up on the "Foxy Oxy" technique since I love the bg coloring you achieved. Beautiful colors to go with your delicate image and pretty flower and foliage.
