I started with some black and silver cardstock along with some Halloween patterned paper by S.E.I. After I die cut my Lacey Pennant using the S.E.I paper, I cut a black triangle a little larger than the pennant to act as a mat.
I added two jumbo brads to the top of the pennants through which I ran my black tulle through to make my hanger. I punched several bats from black cardstock and attached them to the top border. I then placed a few yellow Zva Creative flowers and put them into a zip lock bag and added a bit of Black Soot Distress Stain. After distributing the stain around, I removed the flowers and let them dry. Then I spent the next 30 minutes cleaning black from my finger tips! HA! I love the dead roses look.
My sentiment was stamped onto a punched piece of Silver Lining cardstock using Black Soot Distress Ink and heat embossed with black embossing powder. Then I added crystal bling to each scallop. I love the text that Claire chose for this set and the gothic patterns.
