For years I have worked with all sorts of colored pencils from various companies and love working with them. I have several of the wax, watercolor and pastel sets and a Derwent Inktense watercolor set. Sorry so say I found the Inktense do not blend well and once dry they are permanent so you can no longer work with them. I had no trouble with the smaller flower but in bigger areas, not good. Maybe with a few more projects I can improve but not sure I want to use them anymore. I prefer regular wax colored and watercolor pencils.

These colors are stunning! What a gorgeous card...even if you didn't love this technique. One of my favorite techniques is a light colored Copic all over the flower, then Prismacolor colored pencil in a darker shade in some areas and blend with Gamsol.. so easy and rich too. (can't go back and use the Copic over it though) Thank you so much for sharing your experience!
