This is an old stamp I haven't used in ages so though I would dust it off and see how it could fit in with today's sketch. I also got out some beautiful Asian paper that was also hidden away to use for my diagonal. The other background was embossed and then gone over with a silver acrylic dauber. All these layers are out of my comfort zone so it was a bit of a stretch for me.

Beautiful Asian-themed card, Polly. What a lovely image and I love it stamped and embossed on the lilac. Your special paper is gorgeous and a perfect accompaniment with your image. No one would ever suspect you were out of your comfort zone with this stunning card. In true Eastern style, everything blends so well together to become a complete "whole".
