Well, I'm back to try my hand at another simple CAS card! Last week I "dun good!" I didn't mucky them up and I didn't add 42,000 (tanks Mudder) embellishments. This is a card for today's FUN CAS sketch challenge card. Thanks Jen for bringing back your sketch. Hope you feel lots better soon! Gratitude to Denise for filling in.
I have a bunch of these Inkadinkadoo "by kids" sentiment stamps. Only a couple have seen ink ... and this makes three! I had the perfect Stampabilities House Mouse stamp--viola--a perfect combination. The sweet little mouse (can't remember her name) is sleeping on a cotton ball! Cuters! I wanted to use flower soft for the cotton ball but didn't know if that would be "too much." See, I am trying to remind myself this is a CAS challenge. Also, I knew I wanted to add the buttons and wasn't sure if that'd be pushing it. One time my Mom asked me if I "had to" put buttons on all of my cards. Without hesitation I replied 'Yes!' Seriously, I am doing much better but I LOVE buttons!
Speaking of the buttons--indulge me here, will you hee!--can you believe my luck in that my bag of PTI buttons had a 3-hole button in it?!? I was going to throw it away but I could not. I could hear my Mom, back in the yester years saying to my brother and I 'Okay, I'm gonna count to ...' Assuming the one, I added the buttons in order--2-hole, 3-hole, 4-hole. Okay, okay ... those details make me smile. You probably wouldn't have noticed and don't care, but ... thanks for indulging me. Oh, and BTW, she usually counted to five but as my luck would have it, I didn't have a 5-hole button in my bag. Ha!
And speaking of indulging ... hahaha ... you did get fair warning! My member i.d. isn't "gabalot" w/o reason! Heeheehahahoho!!!
THANKS for looking and have fun playing today!

At first look, I think your card is adorable!! I love the sentiment and the cute little mouse taking a nap. Sometimes that is the best thing to do, and wake up with a fresh mindset. So then I read everything that you wrote. I love buttons too, and seem to collect a lot without even using them. How cool that you have a 2,3,4, wholes. Hmm, I will have to pay closer attention to this now. Love your card!!

They just don't make buttons like they used to, do they? I love your card and am going to really have to go looking for those awesome sentiments you have.
