I used this blog entry from the Rifle Paper Co. site http://riflemade.squarespace.com/sto...=1300998618165 for inspiration. I had seen the Creative Crew Color Focus to use the colors from Timeless Portrait dp which are River Rock, Basic Black, Cherry cobbler, Very Vanilla and Island Indigo. I had wanted to make a card using a dress form image for my niece who is having her 17th birthday. I began by inking the negative side of the Vintage Wallpaper ef with Basic Black and spritzed it with some alcohol for better spreading of the ink. I then embossed a piece of Very Vanilla cs and distressed the edges. The images are stamped on a piece of River Rock patterned dp. The sentiment is stamped onto a piece of plain River Rock and punched with the Designer Label punch. I made a Flower using 2 scallop circles that I scored and folder. This was layered over a 2 3/8" scallop circle and a piece of ruffled Cherry Cobbler seam binding. I layered a couple of distressed circles with an antique brad. The vintage tag has a vintage trinket accent punched through a bitty flower which I distressed, split and sponged. All the pieces were distressed by crumpling, sponging, tearing or distressing with the cutter kit distressing tool.
