I love that this week we were allowed to choose our Queen for the Day, and I know many that deserve this honor, however, this one is dear to my heart and I began to hear about her long before I knew her. Her her Mama is one of my closest friends (Heartsong47). If she does not have an image she needs- she draws it! And I mean good too! (and, she is a wee bit addicted to glitter....who isn't?) By now you know I mean Wendy, who has also become a regular to many SCS places- MMTPT, QFTD, SC, CAS and one of my favs, the Shining the Light Challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs. I chose Wendy's "Sending my Love" card, because it was her first, and also because it's gorgeous! I love SU's Top Note, and also how Wendy had sprinkled little hearts and blooms about her card. To honor the faith we share, I used ODBD's Scripture Series 2 and For the Graduate.
I changed the direction, and made it an easel card to suit the Twisted Sister Challenge for this week issued by Sue (Irishgreensue) to use purples and greens and at least 3 layers on an easle. Wendy, the lace is a gift I received from your mama, and the hearts and bridge represent the friendship we share. Thank you for all you have shared in this place- mostly your heart! LYMI!

Oh Goodness Gracious!! This is a real beauty, Pat!! The layering of your Scripture with the nesties, and scrolled tag, the lace, and then popped onto the Top Note is breathtaking! Love the symbolism in the bridge image with the hearts and flowers - fantastic card to honor Wendy!!

I am at a loss for words Pat, that is the nicest thing ever...put tears in my eyes of all that thoughtfullness. I look back and think how I didnt like that one too much but was excited being my first one with hardly no supplies for anything, as my ma-ma was sending me stuff to get me started bless her sweet heart. This is beautiful Pat...lovely colors but one I have not seen in your gallery much...right on my friend I am proud of you stepping out of your comfy zone. such a lovely verse....ODBD not only makes neat verses but does them so beautifully. I am realizing now too that the easel cards are very fun, and now because of you I enjoy them and realize now why you do they are so neat. Your bridge and hearts are wonderful and so touching, ty My good friend for really making my day...no month ...no just ty so much and I do LYMI..with a huge hug...:0)
