Measurements: bottom flourish panel - 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" includes the 3/32" border, narrow foliage panel - 1" x 5" plus 1/16" and 3/32" on top and bottom, leaves cover about a 2 1/2" if squared in
I used this line of Maple and Acorns table coverings for inspirationÂ…and I wonder, do they know acorns really grow on oak trees and that those are oak leaves on their products! Okay the landscaper in me couldnÂ’t resist that one! Maybe itÂ’s a maple wood table!
The leaves are colored with Copic markers, cut out, the edge colored with 110 black Copic. Then they were sculpted/embossed using a metal ball stylus and folded paper towel for cushion and mounted on foam squares.
Colors used: YG97,65, 63, YR23,31
The two decorative brads were also colored with Copic markers using YR97. YR23 and R59.
The Scor-Pal
was used to emboss a line 1/4” from the edge, all around on the flourished paper and 1/8” from the top and bottom edge on the foliage paper.
The solid layer panels were stamped with small background images to add texture.
Ink distressing was done on all layers but the base.

Love everything about this gorgeous fall card from the beautifully colored leaves to the decorative strip of DP! Thanks for the tip about coloring the edges of your cut out images with the black marker, Roxie...makes a nice finishing touch!

Yes, that bothered me too. I didn't see any maple leaves. Goofy! Anyway, your card is pure bliss!! I really love the leaves that you colored, and the papers that you chose. Wonderfully laid out also.
