This is for today's QFTD76 challenge. This week our queen was up to each gallery member - soooo I chose to case and pass the crown on to CBmott. This is her card:
I fell in love with her sympathy card, and unfortunately I once again needed a sympathy card. My friend lost her very best friend from high school of 50+ years. So her friend was more like a sister to her. It was very sudden (brain aneurysm), so I wanted to send her a special card.
She loves pink, so I changed the colors, the music sheet, the sentiment, the punch, no ribbon, and turned the card sideways. I wish I knew how to take a photo and upload from camera - but because I don't, the scanner made the sentiment and sheet music blurry. It is due to the pink pearl brads being so thick, it kept the sentiment from being directly on the scanner.
Thanks to CBmott for the inspiration. Hope this brings comfort to my friend. TFL

What a beautiful card for your friend, Barb. I know she will appreciate your thoughtfulness and caring. They are sad cards to make, but this one has such a soft and lovely look.

I am pleased you chose my card as an inspiration for your card. I feel so sad when I make a sympathy card, but I put alot of thought into it because it represents my feelings for those who have lost someone. Your card is so sweet. Love the song title, too. My name is Connie, by the way.
