I wrote this little poem to fit the school themed challenge at the Squigglefly Blog today.
Challenge this week is "Writers Cramp": Use chalk (any kind), pencil, ball point pen, highlighter or crayons on your project or use a school themed image or sentiment on your project.
I decided to honor a tradition that my mom participated in with all the neighborhood moms and that I now carry on. Celebrate the first day back to school with a little coffee party of the liberated moms!
I used glossy accents on the coffee pot and cup, don't know if you can see them here.
I used this cute image: The Morning Brew by Chesney Young Image: The Morning Brew

LOL Terri! A card many moms can relate to I'm sure! I love your poem. The crystal effects on the mug and coffee pot are wonderful touches! Your card wins my favorite of the design team this week - you don't get anything for it though! snort!

Whut? You're on "parole"? Awesome! Let's climb up to the top of the Bus and get that latte machine going! Biscotti? Yeah! Your card is the best Brat, and I celebrate your freedom! The crystal effects are perfection, and the poem is rock-solid!!!! Bwahaha! Hugs, CM

Oooh this is such a sweet image...though it is kind of evil to be so thrilled to see your kids gone back to school. LOL This coming from a grammy that yerns for more kids. Well at least the ones you can send back to their parents when you're done. He, he, he! You must be rubbing off me now.
Just love your classy and funny cardmaking girlfriend. hugsxo

Love it! Never would have thought to use this image for a back to school card but it is perfect from a mom perspective! I bet many a mom can relate! Great job on this week's challenge.
