I created this card for two challenges. First in honor of today's featured stamper, Lydia - aka Understandblue. Her gallery is amazing, but I fell in love with this one:
I changed the color scheme, used the same embossing folder, faux stitched around the card, created a handmade (stacked) button so the center of the button would match the quilting diamonds around it. The main color of the button is the exact cardstock used in the background (the burgundy), but the crystal effects makes it look much darker in the scanner. I think from the light reflecting back. But in person is exact match.
That being said, the button is what I created for the free for all challenge - F4A79 Stacked. We were to stack paper shaped to make something, so I hope the button fits the bill You can see the tutorial on how to make paper buttons here:

Barbie- I missed this one in Lydia's gallery and am so glad to see your case. This is so lovely- I could wrap up in it! The textures are wonderufl and your colors are divine. TFS!
