Okay - I've said this every VSN, but now it's a tradition because I'm going to keep saying it!
What I LOVE about these challenges is you have to be really resourceful and creative. You have 45 minutes, your desk is a pile of wobbling craft supplies and you gotta make the most of it.
This card came about because this gorgeous paper was on my FLOOR, peeking out of a craftastrophe, and I was all - WAIT - THAT IS ELEGANT!!!
So a card was born. I masked and sprayed the crown with Gold Glow Smooch Spritz and added some pearls. It doesn't get more elegant than a crown, pearls, gold and velvet paper right???
Oh - well I do have one ghetto element - my sort of lame postage technique - punching with my 1/8 circle punch around the edges. Tip - don't do this over your keyboard while VSN chatting like yours truly did. Now I have little pieces of paper all down in my keyboard.
Thank you for looking!

Love the card - it's gorgeous!! And, I bow to your resourcefulness Those little punches are perfectly even all around the square - steady hands, calm nerves, you're unbelieveable! I hope I remember this little tip when it comes a time that I need it

You did that postage stamp edge with a circle punch????!!! Wow, looks like you used a die to me! I could never do that so perfectly. And . . . love the elegance of the elements you used for this regal card.
And my craft area, yes, I cursed a couple of times today as piles of paper, stamps, and everything else came tumbling down . . . ah the joy of VSN!
