This is my card for VSN challenge C to use the faux leather technique. I have never done this one and am not completely sure about it so I only did a little strip. I don't have the embossing folder that Yvonne used in her tutorial (Faux Leather Wallet) so I used my bubbles one to look like snakeskin a bit - what do you think?
I also used old CC116 to use Garden Green, Chocolate Chip and Cool Caribbean, which I subbed with Soft Sky instead. Great combo for a man's card.
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Garden Green, Soft Sky cs & DSP (both retired) all from Stampin' Up, Stampers Select White from Papertrey Ink
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Garden Green both from Stampin' Up, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics, Versamark
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Soft Sky Ribbon (retired) both from Stampin' Up, Bubbles Embossing Folder from Cuttlebug, Circle Nestabilities, Clouds Die, Up, Up & Away Die both from Papertrey Ink

Wow! It really DOES look like snakeskin! Very cool! And I do love the colors you chose...Soft Sky is just about my favorite SU color ever, and they REALLY need to bring it back (just sayin'!)!!!

Well done. I am really liking this look for the faux leather/snakeskin. It gives a whole new dimension to cards, and I may be addicted! Thanks for showing us another great example. Great inspiration.
